Within the framework of the India Mission 2024, Marina Rosso Siverino, CEO of TITICOM, with Pollera Pantalón (skirtpants.org) undertook a transformative journey to India, a country rich in history and spirituality. This trip not only symbolizes an opening of horizons, but also an immersion in traditions and a strengthening of ties between Argentina and India, opening doors for business development and collaboration on sustainable initiatives.
The experience began in Delhi, with a visit to the imposing Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest Islamic temple in the country. In this place of peace and diversity, values that are a fundamental part of Titicom's mission resonated: intercultural connection and respect for diversity. The opportunity to experience the celebration of Diwali, the festival of lights, up close was another unforgettable moment when the delegation shared the Puja ceremony in honour of Lakshmi Ji and Ganesh Ji with a local family.
The itinerary also included a visit to the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra, a symbol of beauty and eternal love that undoubtedly left its mark on each member of the team. Aware that these experiences allow us to better understand the idiosyncrasy of an ancient culture, Titicom reinforces its commitment to building bridges and enriching dialogue between cultures.
At an event organized by the Argentine Embassy in India, the delegation had the opportunity to participate in the seminar “India: main economic, political and innovation trends.” This meeting, headed by Basudev Mukherjee, Deputy Secretary General of ASSOCHAM, and Ananya Anand of Invest India, provided a comprehensive overview of investment and development opportunities in India. A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a significant step towards promoting collaborations between both countries.
The event also featured presentations by prominent figures such as Charu Pragya, who discussed India's political and economic trends; Neha Thakur of SCS Tech India, who focused on technological innovation; and Amit Kumar of the Forum for Science Diplomacy, who explored challenges in science and technology. The event highlighted Titicom's commitment to global leadership and sustainable development.
The visit to Mumbai was equally enriching. Meetings with ASSOCHAM and Pharmexcil provided strategic insight into key sectors such as logistics, technology and the pharmaceutical industry, a sector in which India is a world leader. The growing presence of Indian medicines in Latin America highlights a potential for collaboration that can strengthen the Argentine market in terms of innovation and accessibility.
Marina Rosso Siverino and the Pollera Pantalón team also ventured into the ancient Elephanta Caves, a sacred place that reflects centuries of history and spirituality. Each experience on this mission reaffirms TITICOM's purpose of fostering a positive impact globally, empowering the role of women leaders who transform their communities.
India Mission 2024 stands as a journey of learning and expansion, a crucial step towards Titicom and Skirt Pants on its path towards a future of intercultural collaboration and sustainable development.
